"I like how knowledgeable Jo is about the North West’s poetry scene – whether it's recommendations on poets to look into, submissions information or tips on the best spoken word nights."

TESTIMONIALS

"It was an absolute pleasure to take part during what could have otherwise been quite a dark and uncreative time. Jo is a natural teacher/mentor and really has a knack for making people feel comfortable and supported when sharing their poetry. The ideas and prompts used in this course were very creative and unlike any workshops I have done before. It is such a relief that there is no pretention, everyone – no matter their background or prior knowledge base – can feel on an even keel. I have nothing but good things to say."

02

"Jo’s advice, guidance and how she facilitated such a safe environment for us all to share was outstanding. She is a fantastic, supportive editor who has a great way of gently guiding you towards improvement."
