Jo has just been awarded a Northern Writers’ Award for her current work in progress and awarded funding from Arts Council England.

After winning the Roy Fisher Prize for poetry, Jo’s debut pamphlet Swallowing Sand was published.

She’s since been featured at the National Poetry Library in London and shortlisted for the Jane Martin Poetry Prize as well as invited to read internationally.
